Born in Madrid 1947
Graduated in Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid UCM, 1971
Architect at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, 1979.
Master in Environmental Management at the Universidad de La Laguna ULL, in 1995.
He has worked as professional Architect since he finished his studies up to day, having developed various hundreds of projects and buildings in private and public sectors, including various great hotels in Tenerife and La Gomera, as well as works in urbanism and planning in Tenerife. Between 1997 and 2008 the author has occupied the direction of Laboratorio COAC in Tenerife, enterprise owned by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Canarias, and concerned with the quality control of materials in building, as well as providing technical assistance to professionals and builders, with a high level of qualification and independence. In the scientific field, the author presents in this work the result of his theoretical research on the origin and physical nature of the strength of materials, giving rise to a failure theory whose first advance was presented in 1994, in Vitoria Gasteíz, IV National Congress on “Propiedades mecánicas de sólidos.”
